Electronic Media, and Earth Sculpture
Art combines electronic media and earth material. Using personal and political themes, Olguin creates sculptures, installations, and socially charged art work which defies boundaries activating participation from the viewer, and exposes centuries long oppression of indiginous traditions.
Adjunct Professor and STEM-Arts Workshops
Currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Mexico Department of Fine Arts. STEM-Arts workshops for k-12 focusing on earth sculpture, ceramics, electronic circuits, indigenous gardening hydrologic systems, and earth sciences. Workshops have been held at the Taos Waldorf School, Marfa Public Schools, Explora, Working Classroom, Escuela del Sol, Albuquerque Public Schools, and other pop-up events in the Albuquerque area.
